Early move-in

Get settled early

Living on campus in a residential community is an important part of your first-year experience, just like E2! That’s why we developed a way for our out-of-state domestic and international students to request to move-in before E2 camp begins.

Out of state domestic students may move in one day prior to their E2 camp. International students may move in up to two days early for their E2 camp. 

After you get settled, be prepared to leave for your E2 camp. 

 

After returning from E2, our team will ensure you have access to meals and we are holding activities in the residential halls for you!

The deadline to submit a request for early move-in is June 21, 2024. Any requests received after that date will not be accommodated.

Please note: If you request an early move-in date, you agree to pay a $49.00 per night fee if you do not move-in early and/or do not attend E2 and that you will be responsible for moving in your personal items.

Important information for out-of-state domestic students

We recommend these camps for you if you are a domestic student living on campus and are NOT in Barrett, The Honors College. You will move in a day prior to your camp, attend E2 camp, and then return to your residence hall. 

Camp 12: any student living on Tempe campus
Camp 13: any student living on Tempe, Polytechnic or West Valley campuses
Camp 14: any student living on Tempe, Polytechnic or West Valley campuses
Camp 15: any student living on Tempe, Polytechnic or West Valley campuses
Camp 16: any student living on Tempe campus
 

Important information for international students

If you are an international student, we recommend you consider these E2 camps. You can move in up to two nights prior to your E2 camp, attend E2 camp, and return in time to attend International student welcome on August 16, 2024. Learn more about arrival for international students here.

Important Information for students accepted into Barrett, The Honors College

If you are a Barrett, The Honors College student, we recommend you consider selecting the early move-in camp based upon your campus. You may be eligible (see below) to move in early, attend E2 camp, and then be able to attend the relevant community building program offered by Barrett, The Honors College.

Camp 14: any out of state Barrett, The Honors College student living on the Tempe campus.
