Early move-in

Example hero paragraph text.

Get Settled Early

Living on campus in a residential community is an important part of your first-year experience, just like E2! That’s why we developed a way for our out-of-state domestic and international students to request to move in before E2 Camp begins.

Once you are confirmed for early move in, you will be able to view your early move in date on your E2 registration portal https://fultonapps.asu.edu/e2reg/. You can arrive anytime during that noted date and staff will be available to let you in to the residential college. Please note that no additional assistance will be provided for moving in your personal items.

After you get settled in your residential college, you’ll depart for E2! After returning from E2, our team will ensure you have access to meals and we are holding activities in the residential halls for you.

Priority deadline for requesting early move-in is Friday, June 26, 2026, and the final deadline is Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

You must request early move in when you register for E2.

Please note: If you request an early move-in date, you agree to pay a $49 per-night fee if you do not move in early and/or do not attend E2, and that you will be responsible for moving in your personal items.

Should you have any questions, email [email protected].

How to request early move-in

If you are an out-of-state or international student, when you register for E2 you will have the option to request early move-in. Be sure to choose the appropriate camp based upon the information noted below. You can view the status of your early move in request by checking your registration status.

We recommend these camps for you if you are a domestic student living on campus. You will move in a day prior to your camp, attend E2 camp and then return to your residence hall. If you are a Tempe campus, out-of-state student in Barrett, the Honors College, see the section below for your recommended camp.

  • Camp 5: only available for Tempe campus students who are living in Tooker House
